Professional Flooring Installation & Finishing
From engineered hardwood to luxury vinyl and porcelain tile, expert installation with custom trim and baseboard finishing that transforms your space.
Why Professional Flooring Installation Matters
Flooring isn't just about aesthetics, proper installation prevents squeaks, gaps, premature wear, and moisture damage that can cost thousands to fix down the road.
Proper Subfloor Preparation
We level, repair, and prep subfloors correctly preventing squeaks, bouncy floors, and premature wear. DIY jobs often skip this critical step.
Expert Material Selection
Not all flooring works everywhere. We help you choose the right material for each room based on moisture, traffic, and budget avoiding costly mistakes.
Manufacturer Warranty Protection
Most flooring warranties require professional installation. DIY installation voids the warranty, leaving you stuck if materials fail.
Clean, Professional Finishing
Baseboards, trim, transitions, and door undercuts done right. We leave your space looking polished and complete not "almost finished."

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about flooring installation. How much does flooring installation cost?+
Installed flooring typically costs $4–$12/sqft depending on material. LVP: $5–$9/sqft. Engineered hardwood: $9–$15/sqft. Porcelain tile: $8–$15/sqft. This includes material, labour, underlayment, removal of old flooring, and baseboard installation. A typical 1,000 sqft home (living room, dining, hallway, bedrooms) costs $5,000–$12,000 total.
How long does flooring installation take?+
Most flooring projects take 2–5 days. Day 1: Remove old flooring. Day 2–3: Subfloor repair and levelling (if needed). Day 4–5: Install new flooring and trim. Larger homes or complex layouts may take 1–2 weeks. Tile jobs take longer due to mortar and grout curing time.
Do I need to move furniture?+
Yes, rooms must be completely empty before we start. Most homeowners move furniture to other rooms, a garage, or a storage unit. We can recommend moving companies if needed. Small items (lamps, décor, etc.) should also be removed. We can work room-by-room if you need to keep some spaces functional.
Can you install flooring over existing flooring?+
Sometimes, but not recommended. LVP and laminate can sometimes go over old vinyl if it's smooth and well-adhered. Tile must be removed — you can't install new flooring over tile. Carpet must always be removed. Installing over old flooring risks height issues with doors, uneven surfaces, and trapped moisture. We always recommend removal for best results.
What's better: engineered hardwood or luxury vinyl plank?+
Engineered hardwood is best for living rooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms where you want real wood's warmth and resale value. It costs more and can't handle moisture. LVP is best for basements, kitchens, bathrooms, and high-traffic areas — 100% waterproof, more durable, and costs less. For main living spaces, we recommend hardwood. For wet or high-traffic areas, choose LVP.
Do you install new baseboards?+
Yes. We remove old baseboards during demolition. If they're in good condition, we can carefully save and reinstall them. Most clients choose to install new baseboards for a fresh, clean look that matches the new flooring. New baseboards cost $2–$5/linear foot installed, including paint-grade material, installation, caulking, and painting.
